The Royal Malaysian Army or also known as the Tentera Diraja Malaysia issues a substantial ration pack to its soldiers.
Most items in the ration are locally procured and it comes in 3 menus.
Breakfast
2 packs of hard Army crackers, 1 pouch of pineapple jam, 1 packets of instant coffee, 1 tea bags, 1 envelope of milk powder and 1 bags of sugar.
Lunch
Rice, beef rendang, spicy tomato chicken (ayam masak merah), fruit in syrup (pineapple & papaya), black bean porridge (bubur pulut hitam), salt, tea bag, 1 envelope of milk powder and sugar.
Dinner
Rice, mutton curry, chicken kurma, red bean porridge (bubur kacang merah), 1 packet of instant coffee, 1 envelope of milk powder, salt and sugar.
The ration pack also comes with additional pineapple syrup with real bits of pineapple (dessert), sardines and vegetables.
On top of that 4 pack of fuel tablets, 2 Vitamin C pills, 2 Vitamin B complex tablets, 1 box of moisture-resistant matches (30 sticks) and 2 four-ply napkins are also included in the ration packs. The entire ration weighs about 2kg and each soldiers are given 2 ration packs for every 3 days.
